“Let me be clear. UAP are real. Advanced technologies not made by our government or any other government are monitoring sensitive military installations around the globe. The U.S. is in possession of UAP technologies as are some of our adversaries."

Link below for those who haven’t seen it. The length is daunting, but it’s honestly very gripping. I guess veracity can still be questioned - but he did give classified testimony to congress last year, so if nothing else, people in positions to know take it very seriously. I take that to the bank.

Do you think you’d even have a clue as to why, when or how a Non Human Intelligence would do anything? Are you an expert on extraterrestrial psychology and technology?
comment in response to

Well, it’s a “conspiracy theory” that has warranted —nine— separate hearings in congress in the past three years, so at least there’s that

.. we need to onboard more/most of the general public. That’s why stuff like the Dan Farrah doc is so important, especially if it gets picked up by netflix. A doc like that can take the documents, and lay out the story in a cohesive way, and make it impactful enough for the layman to care. 🧵3/4

What we need to force disclosure is strong insentive for political leaders to make it a legislative issue - expand the so called overton window. That’s what we’ve been seeing unfold, with the bipartisan efforts of Chuck Schumer and Burchett for example. But for the dam to really break-🧵2/4

Probably the lingering stigma of the topic. No one wants to be a “ufo journalist”. And editors likely don’t wanne engage either. I think for a lot of mainstream media it’s a wait and see thing. And the psi angle will only make it more difficult know. But alas, eventually the dam has to break

I’m like 95% sure that DG and Jake had to go through DOPSR too. Can’t remember where it was mentioned. Took Coulthart a year and a half to get this story out, so likely held back by dopsr. And thx haha

How do you square that circle i wonder? I’m a musician, looking for a reason to finally ditch instagram mentally, after years of trying to get my “content” up to snuff. It’s exhausting, and i’d much much rather just make music, but some amount of online presence seems unavoidable for success
comment in response to

As for your second Q, Grusch, Barber and Elizondo all have to go through the “DOPSR” process of getting information cleared before divulging, as to prevent national security risks.
Also, Grusch alleged (under oath) that he and his family havd personally been threatened because he’s whistleblown
comment in response to
post
David Grusch testifying under oath was also precluded by a newsnation special. So answer could just be publicity and public interest as to push congressmen to have hearings.
comment in response to
post
What in the actual f are you talking about
comment in response to
post
I think some amount of respect is commanded for Grusch and Barber for coming out *at all*. Whether what they disclose is managed through DOPSR, by an agency. Personally i think the agenda is slow dripping as to acclimatize general populace, and possibly mitigate backlash because of secrecy.

Outside of the clickbaity title and ridiculous thumbnail, what is the angle you find problematic about the video?
Diana Pasulka is a reputable academic imo
comment in response to

Isn't that exactly what Jesse Michels is doing though - whether he think he's a bad faith actor or not?
comment in response to
post
Because i believe our biggest struggle right now is getting people onboard with just the most basic reality of the phenomenon *existing*.
comment in response to

Fair point. One caveat, i do think that is only going to be beneficial for people within the community, to everyone else that kind of venn diagram whiteboard is going to seem like classic conspiracy stuff, insert pepe silvia meme
comment in response to

Don't we run the risk of throwing the baby out with the bathwater though, since Nell is associated with Grusch and Pasulka with Vallee, etc?
Very very skeptical of Thiels motives, just to make that clear. But don't think anything Pasulka is saying is more/less crazy than Delonge for example
comment in response to
post
Yeah i wanna know too.
I think by Jesse’s own account he is bankrolling his channel by himself but who knows.
What’s the play here? Is Jesse setting himself and Thiel up to be cult leaders of new cosmic religion?
I do think some of his vids are very interesting, especially the townsend brown one
comment in response to

Most will just scream that it’s an “appeal to authority”, but yeah, try and watch the hearings back to back and then come and tell me you think there’s no “there” there. The reality of the phenomenon makes people super cagey i find. Maybe rightly so 🤷♂️

They are routinely reported as showing up around 17 and leaving before midnight, who fly’s agricultural drones at those hours, doesn’t check out to me. And again - no technology we know of can sustain a car sized drone for 6 hours, would require extensive battery carry-ons

comment in response to

They are being reported again and again showing these characteristics:
1. Hover in the air for 6-7 hours
2. Turn off their lights when approached
3. SUV sized
no commercially available drones can stay in the air for that long

In fact i don’t believe i’ve ever seen one for myself, but i believe the several testimonies of fighter pilots, because why wouldn’t you
comment in response to

I think this guy seems pretty credible for example?
Or the trained personnel at the coast saying they were followed by 12-15 drones? You’d think they would be at the very least competent enough to identify planes correctly. But if you wanna assume gross incompetence across the board then go ahead
comment in response to

Yeah, because i believe UAP’s are real. Doesn’t mean i believe everything in the sky is UAP’s.

I’m a “UAP guy” in the same sense that Harry Reid was. Or Chuck Schumer. Hell, pick pretty much any congressmember at this point. We’re team UAP apparently.
