Honestly the guys reaction makes it seem like in the heat of the moment he thought he was fighting for the ball with another fan with a glove? He instantly shows surprise in his face when he realizes it’s Trout.

How is still implementing a higher average tariff rate than Smoot-Hawley tariffs backing down? Call him out for the costs he is putting on Americans rather than thinking saying he “backed down” is a better argument.

How does “must” not mean they are requiring it? The word “must” certainly sounds like a requirement.

And also it isn’t a pause. He still is instituting large tariffs on every country in the world. The average tariff total is still higher than even Smoot-Hawley Tariffs.
comment in response to

No he didn’t. Keeping 10% tariffs on all countries and even higher on some others means saying there is a “pause” is lying. A pause would be zero tariffs.

They aren’t paused! Stop using Trumps words. He is still imposing incredibly high 10% tariffs on all countries and even higher tariffs on many others.

“But maintaining his 10% tariff on nearly all global imports.” Sooooo, not a pause.

And the EU. The EU voted to retaliate this morning, so they also will have higher than 10% tariffs.
comment in response to

Yeah a lot of people also don’t seem to realize the EU retaliated, so extremely high tariffs are still in effect for all EU countries also, not just China.
comment in response to

Yeah a lot of people are not reading the tweet and just taking Trump wrongly phrasing a drop to 10% tariffs on non-retaliatory countries as a pause and running with it.
comment in response to
post
They aren’t turned off. They are still at 10%, which will still result in much higher prices.
comment in response to
post
Yeah it’s a lot of nonsense, but still ultimately says non-retaliatory countries will have 10% tariffs. China and EU retaliated and will still have even higher tariffs.
comment in response to
post
That’s not even true. He’s just lowering tariffs to 10%.
comment in response to
post
He said non-retaliating countries. Didn’t the EU retaliate?

Manufacturing sector was gaining steam under the last administration.

Yeah it’s insane. They are literally going on tv every 20 minutes saying no deals are happening unless countries give up crazy concessions and yet people think differently.

Over 60% of Americans own stock in some form.

So what he's going to tariff China 104%. He imposed 34% tariffs on top of an already existing 20% tariff and now he wants 50% higher tariffs. He is insane.

Now back into the red. It's a very volatile day on Wall Street as the investors react to every bit of news about potential pauses on Tariffs or not.

So this is why the stock market all of a sudden shot up into the positive.

Yeah in one minute, the Dow jumped over 1000 points. Typically don't see those style jumps, except at opening.

Great job Senator Coons! Don’t let Fox News anchors cut in to contradict you with lies. Make sure you speak the truth.

How is he parroting Trumpian lies? He’s saying the Trump administration and DOGE are lying about people in the system that are listed that old receiving payments.

The most annoying thing these Trumplicans say is that people who don't like Trump or don't agree with Trump have TDS. It is the most pitiful excuse they come up with rather than recognizing that Trump is just a terrible person.

A little surprised the Ravens did not run it more. It seemed like they ran it with Mark Andrews way more than 5 times.

Wow! I certainly wouldn't be going back to a doctor who is disrespecting me or another patient on national television. These are his medical patients that he is revealing information about.

Has gotten it down? Inflation spiked over 3% in Trumps first month in office for the first time in months. Inflation is no lower now than it was in Biden's final months in office.

Eliminating federal courts? You are a coequal Johnson. You can't just eliminate a branch that is a coequal of yours.

He lives in such a delusional world. Who was calling it "the greatest first month a president has ever had"? He's had the stock market crashing, consumer sentiment plummeting, and so many orders struck down by courts for being unlawful that it's hard to keep count.
