Grasping at straws much? I left the main party "on the right" mainly over this sort of thing - couldn't stomach who I was traveling with. You're in the same boat with Rashida Tlalib, among others. Either own it or address it. If you lie down with dogs...

You're either blind or disingenuous. The students are of the left. "Queers for Palestine" just doesn't strike me as being a conservative organization. Their antics were tolerated by both the universities and the larger "left," at least until they started to alienate normal folk.

I brought up two campuses where the protests stopped being "pro-Palestinian/anti-zionist" and went full antisemitic. If the distinction is lost on you, just say so and we can talk about something else.

First, I did bring the whole of the Ivy League into the conversation, you did. I specified two campuses matters went well beyond anti-Zionism. Second, while it is possible to be anti-Zionist without being antisemitic, the kids at Columbia and Harvard weren't capable of doing so.

I am of at least two opinions on this. The first one is that this is correct. I make use of it, broadly speaking. The second one is some battles have to be fought, not because of the idiot, but because of the idiot's audience. Silence, in some cases, ends up perceived as tacit approval.

Were you not paying attention earlier this year? When you have "Pro-Palestinians protesters" chanting Hamas slogans advocating genocide, even in ignorance, something is wrong. As for the Ivy League, just because two problems are adjacent doesn't mean they are necessarily related.

This has all happened before. The Luddites were not against technology, they were against industrialization de-skilling their jobs.

Try being a Jew on the Campus of Columbia or Harvard -- anti-Semitism is alive and well on the "tolerant Left."

Given the few leadership qualities the Tangerine Toddler has, it is sort of... I need a word like "amazing," but can't be construed as positive... Bewildering? Maybe... Given the few leadership qualities the Tangerine Toddler has, it's bewildering he's President.

In the immortal words of Emo Phillips "Yes... and no." Say what you will, but the shouting down of other opinions is not new and not limited to "the intolerant."

Accountability seemingly went out of fashion something in the eighties. As a consequence, people think that being held accountable is somehow grossly unfair. To use a different example, folks arrested for drunk driving accuse the cop of "ruining their life." May the old ways were better...

I agree wholeheartedly with your premise. However, the billionaire-class is not a monolith, "blue" billionaires are donating and, in some cases, running for office. My former home state had two running for governor two elections running. Don't expect blue ones to be "good," either.

Meh... Anyone who studied history or Trump could have seen this one coming. However, I think the African American community has realized that lip service is lip service, regardless of the color of lipstick.

More than we would have if Harris won... but even if Harris had won, we'd still have a few too many for my liking...

Sadly, the gloves were pillows, else Tyson would have had a puncher's chance.
