You’re right. I hadn’t realised that. Moved to Suffolk at a young age. 👍
comment in response to post
Surely Suffolk should be Ed Sheeran rather than Brian Eno?

Let’s hope it’s a finger!

No. But I’m interested to find out if there is any value remaining.

And that’s before you think about the unimaginable scale of US Government debt.

What’s your view on Season 2? I loved Season 1 but I’m not sure Season 2 is quite matching it. The sets and the styling are brilliant but not much is actually happening. A hard act to follow I guess.

I’m with you on #KITW and #SNX. The former has been soft for several months now so perhaps things aren’t rolling out quite as planned. #SNX has been edging up though so I’m hopeful of more good news.

Very poor! Management must have had an inkling this was coming when they launched their share buyback programme in late 2024. So they’ve basically been knowingly squandering shareholder funds for 6 months.

You will already be up another 75% on your cost price this morning on yesterday’s announcement of the ‘Coalition of the Billing’ for Ukraine 😉. There’s no way that they’ll ever admit it but a few of your X critics might have called this wrong! Congratulations.

I was lucky to come out marginally ahead from a small 320p punt a month or two ago. It was a bit nerve wracking for a while. I’m not sure I’d have the courage to try again until the price stabilises at a lower level.

26th for me. #W13Ken did a bit better. 👏 👏

Top slice a portion and put the proceeds into a high yield stock (insurance, utilities, renewables) maybe? But don’t take advice from me. 😹
comment in response to post
That took about 5 minutes to achieve. Well done!
comment in response to post
If you achieve that then you can have 8 or 9 total wipeouts with other investments and still be ahead overall. There is comfort in that.

#RR was one of the very first purchases my son made when he opened his LISA 3 or 4 years ago. He bought at 75p so he thinks investing is easy. Well done for getting in at 66p! Your 10x return could come very soon.

#WG yesterday, #CSG today. There are some nasty market moves amongst underperforming industrials at the moment.

And the total will presumably be split between ‘Current’ and ‘Long term’ liabilities based on whether the work is to be performed in the next 12 months.
comment in response to post
I don’t want to look at this. It will be the end of my Saturday morning!
comment in response to post
Thanks. I hold #CRS which has been a good performer but weak recently, also #VLE which has been trending the right way but very thinly traded.

Could you share his selections here? I’d be interested to see.

Portugal also.

Mostly it’s been the general misery over the #W7L performance this week.

Me too.

You read it well!

Very positive interims. If they can diversify their customer base then the situation will be even better.

Still falling. I bought some more at 716p. I hope I haven’t got sucked in here. Hopefully a good entry point for the longer term. I’m not really a short term trader.
comment in response to post
Down sharply. I added at 774p.
comment in response to post
This reads to me as a timing issue more than anything else. I plan to top up my holding this morning if there is a significant pull back on opening.

I always appreciate your trading commentary. 😃

Sorry - … cloud formations …

I live not so far from Granada and we see these amazing colours formations quite often.

Down to 56p at 10:00h. Brutal.

Dennis Hopper’s performance in Blue Velvet is memorable. One of the scariest screen villains ever. For me, Twin Peaks was David Lynch’s best work. Weird and wonderful.

I bought a very small number of shares in Freetrade back in January 2022 through CrowdCube. My notes reveal: - Amount invested £231 - Expected #IIGG takeover proceeds £30. Not really a case of the early bird catching the worms! 😹 A bonus to get any return from a CrowdCube investment though.

Excellent job. Well done!

I can’t imagine this will ever come to pass. Extremely radical if it does as it’s not just Brits who will be affected. It is intended to apply to any non-EU citizen or resident.

I find Musk to be weird and rather alarming but you can’t deny that he is managing to keep a lot of balls in the air right now. 🤹‍♀️
