I do hope we eventually play our centers at ya know center but Mika has actually looked a bit rejuvenated these couple games so maybe it’s not the worst thing as long as it’s temporary? Third line is a black hole as constructed though - three shooters no playmakers or play drivers

Yeah I also wonder about the trickle down effect with Schneider. Borgen clearly doesn’t want to be a bottom pair guy and can’t imagine Schneider is ok with being resigned to one at his age either so I imagine that’s also a factor at play

Hope what do you think a reasonable extension looks like for him? Maybe it is just me but I see a lot of the same concerns I’d had with Trouba with him and worry about him becoming the same player at the same price point if he loses a step in a few years
