https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/master/release-notes-9.0.0.html has the release notes (the link on github is currently wrong β€” we'll fix it). that should get you going with any breaking changes (and use the upgrade assistant in kibana in 8.latest)

@michael @alxsim normally because of the way it tokenizes. turning "bsky.app" into "bsky" and "app" would make this work. but this might be intentionally not done to not break up URLs (and you would suddenly have a ton of "app" tokens that might not make sense to you). no easy right or wrong […]
