Just took my first two Waymo rides to the grocery store and bank. Hard to overstate how smooth and safe it was. I definitely don't think they will lead to less congestion, but I think our tolerance for human driver recklessness and mistakes will change drastically.

Therapy has helped me a lot. One thing I've learned is to focus on the amazing things that happen each day. The sun. Pets. The love of family and friends. The political harm is real and it's happening, but being able to enjoy today is something that hasn't been taken yet and we should embrace it.
