Since Apartheid Child’s deadline approaches, here is my bullet list of accomplishments for last week: 1) baked a loaf of bread B) experimented with interchangeability of numbers and letters 3) made a list of five things 4) drank coffee with few resultant ring stains 5) made words in two languages

I am committed to sharing the cookies I just baked, but have hereby banned the words “share,” “taste,” and “have.” To reiterate, I am and always will be committed to sharing what I consider mine and mine alone.

According to you, do cats and dogs have four feet or two hands and two feet?

Wait. So a convicted felon is ... (checks notes) ... NOT a reliable leader?

Remember when we had a constitution AND three branches of government. Those were good times. Future opening line for a novel about this era we find ourselves in: It was the best of times, it was the fascistest of times.

I’m watching Watership Down (1978) for the first time and realizing we just don’t scare kids with art like we used to.

I would hope that other buildings have signs that say astronomical men, English men, philosophical men, and musical men.

The Annual Oratory Showcase was today, and I mentioned Kaayistaan Marie Olson, who made the great journey recently. She was a housepost at the University of Alaska Southeast, and was at every convocation to give the welcoming address until her health prevented her from doing so.

I see your motion, and raise you a revolution.

If you mess up one of the consonants when typing "to do so" then youʼre done for.

Good game, Canada! 🇨🇦 Sorry the bully who obtained 31.6% of registered voters is a tuḵx̱ʼé to you all on social media. Governance by outlandish declarations and tweets that could be written by gradeschool bully is so unpleasant. Iʼve always enjoyed the people I know in Canada, and the maple cookies.

Your outie can parallel park in less than 20 seconds. Your outie can roller-skate... with grace. Your outie pays all of his gas and electric bills within three business days. Your outie once captured a butterfly. Your outie does not live in a developing dictatorship led by a bullying potatohead.

“Historical illiteracy” is the new word for “reality” I guess.

“Dear Colleague” is the new “Under His Eye.”

If you’re cooking for the kids and some of their friends, just know that Costco sells a spicy marinara that is 99% identical and adjacent to the non-spicy marinara.

I got that dog in me. I look out the window at people too far away to hear me and yip, “hey! hey! hey!”

MAGA gonna MAHA? Probably just gonna MARA and MASA and MAPA.

We are supposed to be able to use tribal IDs for (not all) legal things (sick so can't think of word). This letter highlights: 1. Vigilantes are intimidating people on behalf of ICE and 2. ICE can't tell the difference between North and South Indigenous people. It's almost like we both belong here

On Sunday, communities across Alaska celebrated the works of Peratrovich.

“Don’t forget—I’m also just an unelected tech billionaire, standing in front of a Treasury Department, asking it to give him sensitive taxpayer data.”
