For my fellow US residents who are White & relatively unafraid of these raids - YOU need to contact your members of congress. This is why I, a life-long citizen of the US, with a Spanish surname, who speaks Spanish in public, and frequents Latino-majority venues, carry my passport at all times.

Proposition from GOP leaders to low and middle income folks in the USA: let us kick some of you off Medicaid, kick some of you off SNAP, and raise taxes for all of you while simultaneously lowering taxes for billionaires AND raising the deficit & debt. Sounds great, right?
