I appreciate y'all wearing the hazmat suit to pull out the parts that aren't toxic.

I was able to vote for Paperboy Love Prince and Mandan. Truly the best feeling in the world.

No, residential units are still tremendously costly. Most one bedrooms are running upwards of $2000 a month. It also is very dependent on where in the city you’re looking.

About half that time he was above a 1st Line Center. I miss him.

Ah, close! It’s actually short for Tick Tack.

I think it’s a testament to their artistry that I have no qualms with picking pretty much any of their movies as your favorite. Wild that such a singular movie voice comes from a pair of brothers.

Garak would rank Paperboy Love Prince as is number 1, intent on making a mockery of the whole endeavor. He’d then rank Mandani over Cuomo, selfishly thinking he’d be better at manipulating a less experienced politician towards his own goals. He’ll abstain from voting after the primary.

A Serious Man is the best Coen brothers movie that is absolutely always overlooked and under discussed. It operates as a near perfect comic translation of the book of Job, and it retells it so flippantly that you can likely still find the angry finger wagging of a Christian reviewers online now.

I feel less bad about not getting this now. Apparently they we last used in the 1800s!

No, that’s a labia. Labubu is a country in West Africa on the Atlantic coast near the edge of the Gulf of Guinea.

There’s no way his next contract is anything other than an albatross for whatever team pays him into his late thirties, yeah?

This trade netted the Sharks a 1st and 2nd rounder. Just incredible rake stepping by Yzerman.

I call that getting Gattaca’d. I met a dude that had it done, and he spent the whole time talking about having to relearn to ride a motorcycle. It was unpleasant.

The entire back line was solid. Brendan Dillon, Dylan DeMelo, and Justin Braun all proved to be fair additions elsewhere.

Has @shawnferris98.bsky.social or the brothers at @evolving-hockey.com seen this yet?

Shit happens to everyone. The amount of pigheadedness I see from hiring teams about absolutely inane trivialities blows my mind. Also, people have kids, get married, move, lose loved ones. Those are all just things people have to deal with, and sometimes work takes a back seat. It’s fine.

I’m a recruiter, & every time someone I send forward for an interview has a gap on their resume, the hiring managers get real shitty. The response is always the same from me, “Just interview them. If you’re unconvinced after, I’ll find you someone else.” 9/10 times they’re a good fit.

I think Devourer managed to capture a lot of the sonic texture of the early stuff, while still being older & more careful, for lack of a better word. It still feels urgent & big, but more measured. I just saw them open for Bright Eyes, & with a kid on the way, I don’t know if I can make BFF Fest.

Sorry, best we can do is megalomaniacal egoists obsessed with breaking everything and selling it for parts.

I put the new Cursive album in their top three overall, and that's a cool 28 years after their debut.
