Spanish has no nouns with neutral grammatical gender, that's the trap, haha. The easy way is to use esto/eso whenever the noun isn't explicit in the sentence, like "esto es extraño" or "ella hizo eso". With that, you're good.

You're doing well! A quick pointer: Spanish has three demonstrative pronouns, "ese/este" (masc) "esa/esta" (fem) and "eso/esto" (neutral). Zorro is a masc noun, so you say "Él no sabe que este zorro es un Huli Jing". You use "esto" when the noun isn't explicit in the sentence: "yo sé hacer esto"

(read in an hypnotic tone) Remove that dead weight from your shoulders, yeet that trash site to the abyss. There's nothing for any of us left in there, the good old times are loooong paaaast~

I deleted it last October, found my fandom and communities in Bluesky and Tumblr instead, and I haven't missed it for even one second. Trust me, the only thing you're gonna lose if you delete your account over there is headaches!

3-The majority of MXTX cosplayers buy their costumes from big retailers, while mine are all handmade. Some people in this sphere perceive self-made cosplays as cheap or unloyal to MXTX/her brand. Others fear I'll look down on them for not making their cosplays. That's what I have.

1-There's friction between younger and older fans. I'm on the older side, so the young fans, who are the majority, prefer to avoid me 2-It's a BL fandom for which I cosplay without a partner. It's reasonable to be suspicious of my intentions approaching cosplayers of my characters' significant other

My bad, didn't mean to assume your proficiency 😵 Fandom or common interests definitely help, like they do everywhere, but yeah, even so, it's a struggle. I've come up with some theories about the MXTX fandom hostility, based in the few convos I've managed to have, but nothing sure. We'll see...

The thing is that I cosplay from a wide variety of fandoms, and my experience here with all of them except MXTX has been very positive! While making German friends without being fluent is indeed hard and slow, I do think the problem here lies on the local fandom community, not the culture at large.

Maybe it has an ambiguous/open ending that hints at the pining lasting for two hundred years :V

Es de risa y también es chévere culturalmente porque este tipo de transiciones y juegos de palabras son característicos de la copla antioqueña, siendo Antioquía la región de la que viene Juanes. Los duelos de copleros son un espectáculo de los sick burns más sick que permite el español, jajaja.

Y qué decir de "Mal parece que...", que siempre suena a que va a decirle malparida a la muchacha :V
