The city and county government here is 100% MAGA. The state is too for all intents and purposes. There are some democratic legislators from the bigger cities, Houston, San Antonio, Dallas and El Paso, but they are hamstrung by the rest of the government. In Texas it's pretty much a one way street.

I can empathize with you in that. Among my friends (mostly former now), acquaintances, clients I know 4 (out of about 400 people) that are not MAGA sycophants. And there's not a neighbor I know of that's not MAGA. More disgusting is the pro Putin majority among them. It's sickening, a bit scary.

Exactly. It was delivered via email. Yep, we have lawyers, let the lawsuits fly! Not being a fan of lawyers, it's funny hearing that come out my mouth. The lawyers and courts may be our only reprieve. Yes, I'm following the elections in Germany. Hope for the best, plan for the worst. FCK AFD!
