They’re pretty rare! I’ve only seen a few in the wild back years ago then I found one going for 60000 yen ($560?? Currently) and then it broke… These units don’t have factory resets or anything to help with fixing issues. So I found another one pop up a year later and snagged it. Bit battered

I realize this but if that building stays up for another 20 years it’ll be there for a long time The owner surprisingly does put some care into cleaning but never bothers to fix anything or peel things off

I feel that Shake didn’t have much ground to begin with. Apple bought it from Nothing Real, attempted to appeal to the VFX market when Linux and Windows systems were cheaper. Apple then just gave up or something There’s no clear evidence to support that claim but those two systems were cheaper.

QC was actually by a different guy! It was originally called PixelShox. His project was later bought by Apple and was used for years then sadness happened The only program that felt real. :(

Yes, there are things in the world that need attention. I'm not against the idea of fighting for whats right. But you have to heal yourself before you can heal others in society. Art can heal you too. There's no right way of doing good for others. This is just my way.

For the record I usually buy something from that place to keep it alive even if I know the stuff there is absurdly priced. It’s one of the few vestiges of “unhinged-ness” of Japan and Akihabara, while the rest become hyper sucking up to tourist demand and inflating prices for everything.

Aye late reply here! It’s the “crazy vending machine area” beyond the Mansei bridge and former Mansei building (currently being demolished) It’s just known for being crazy. Googling this is instant, you always have somebody going here blogging about it.
