Well then you know the fly in fly out areas tor work are primarily not Taber. (Its Fort Mac)

In Taber? I’ll let you do your own research as to how many people fly in and out of Taber for work.
The answer to your question is no.

not a populous province? we are the 4th largest province 5 million people, and only 700,000 people behind BC. 1000 people, which is still significant, equals 0.02% of our population.

Trump can stay in office if the usa is at war.

…nearly all *have* some connection…

Fair. I dont know enough about Hamilton CC to offer amy real solutions, I just know in Yeg we structured wards so nearly all some connection to inner urbanish communities.
comment in response to

This can be solved via how the ridings are structured.

if you remove Edmonton’s abundant green space its actually pretty dense, esp when compared to its usa equivalents.
Also
yegs newer suburbs along the henday are far more dense then older inner communities that were built in the 40-60’s. i.e. Avenmore

We live in Bonnie Doon and there is a pair of them that we see every year. They live somewhere in the Mill Creek ravine. They generally stay away from urban busy areas.

If you want numbers
The dotted blue line is Vans growth/pop. The Red line is Surrey. So vancouver proper has added 80k people. During this same time period Edmonton proper has added over 200k
2021 the year Yeg proper hit 1 mill, today its over 1.2 with expected to hit 1.3 at start of 2026.

I will point out a lot of people think a lot of things, like the earth is flat.
If a larger community grows constantly at 1.25% and a smaller community at 2.75% eventually the smaller will surpass the larger.
Rate of growth = Hence YEG being one of fastes growing communities in NA. #justfacts

Exactly, Canucks fans are rightly upset.

The “suburban sprawl” outside the ring road Is externally compact, dense, full of mixed use development and is award winning.
I am a devoted urbanite, but communities like summerside, blacked creek and chappelle are very attractive communities

If you remove our vast green spaces, Edmonton is an extremely compact city who has many neighbourhoods that have the same density as NYC. More over we have some of the highest infill rates in Canada.
Why are you so triggered by our success? For such a great city you sure are overly sensitive.
comment in response to
post
Yes its called rate of growth. The facts are right there.
Go get pissy at the statisticians. You seem pretty triggered by facts.
comment in response to

And lastly.. Edmonton is affordable, not because we are an undesirable place to live, but because we build houses at rates Toronto and Van won’t. We are the most builder friendly city in Canada.

Here are some side by side charts showing growth rates over an extended period. Edmonton is on the left.
comment in response to

So while Van has doubled, we have near tripled, Thanks for proving my point.
comment in response to
post
So express that as a percentage, again you will see that Edmonton has well surpassed the growth rate of Van.

Also your ignorance is showing. Alberta and Edmonton has dome of the highest education rates in North America. We also have access to mountains. We have the lowest income inequality rates while boasting some of the highest house hold incomes. This isnt a fight, its facts.
peace.

cities have existed longer than 2 years. Edmonton has gone from 200k to 1.2 million in some 40 or so years. Again Edmonton is one of fastest growing cities in North America.
comment in response to

Im not dissing the Canucks, its a fact. You go ask a Canucks fan how happy they are with their team. They aren’t, full stop.
If no one wants to live here how do you explain cities like Edmonton being the fastest growing in North America.
You just keep reinforcing your own biases there buddy.

Yer just mad cause the Canucks cant win a game of paper rock scissors and we all can afford our houses here in AB.

Edmonton is the only sure bet at this point. I think the Jets and Toronto have to win two in a row ya?

Hmmm when you say something that is sarcastic but then qualify it with statements you men, aren’t you sending a mixed message.
Personally I think ya got caught making a rather ignorant statement and you simply are A) embarrassed and B) are unable to take ownership of your own actions.

Re read what you wrote. You may have said the words Alberta leadership; however your opening sentence clearly states Alberta could/does belong in the USA.
If you mean something else than say that, not this.
