#Sinners is outstanding. The music alone makes it worthwhile but it also has important things to say about culture, creativity, assimilation, appropriation, erasure, racism. The choices made in this film should be studied for years to come. Can't wait to read the script.

I am so super excited to be guest editing a FamPunk FFO! Take a break from the big-picture. Casually incorporate science & technology. Embrace quotidian else-when life. Give us alternative families in alternative spaces. Read more (& feel free to ask questions below): ffo.submittable.com/submit

I also have "Feeling Sick" web.archive.org/web/20230203... pubbed a while back, which touches on similar concept as the Black Mirror "Common People" episode. Black mirror, I am available if you're looking for writers ;) #blackmirror

My story "Subscriber's Only" in Monstrous Futures imagined a subscription-based world before Black Mirror's Common People, but what Black Mirror does with it is beyond haunting. A horrifying and painful episode to watch, that feels too close to our future.

Amazing stories here, including "Museum of Monstrous Curiosities" by me! So honored to be part of this episode and to hear my characters brought to life. Thank you to The NoSleep Podcast and the narrators for their amazing work.

At least I can feel less guilty about not having the capacity to write this week.

This is what is happening: So many important cancer research programs just gone.

Mavka by A.D. Sui is about what it takes to survive and what survival takes from us. Set during Holodomor, a genocide that killed millions of Ukrainians, it's a must read now more than ever. I am incredibly honored to have narrated this and hope I did it justice. pseudopod.org/2025/02/21/p...

To spin Ukraine as the aggressor is the start of a very short plan to make the American people "know" 2+2 =5 слава Українi

The Internet Archive is like the modern-day library of Alexandria. Let keep the firewalls on this one safe and prevent history from repeating itself.

“There is always more misery among the lower classes than there is humanity in the higher” - Les Misérables by Victor Hugo How did a human writing in the 1840s complete a work so profound and relevant to this day. Will I ever read anything else as good?

Scared as I am to live these stories (because look around) I can't wait to read them.

"They were savages, yes; but the savages of civilization[...] For our part, if we were forced to make a choice between the barbarians of civilization and the civilized men of barbarism, we should choose the barbarians" -Les Miserables by Victor Hugo

A beautiful retelling of Red Riding Hood that explores the trauma of surviving such a horrific event and the shame of having been so fooled to begin with. Give it a read: www.unnervingbooks.com/single-post/...

"Diamonds are found only in the dark places of the earth; truths are found only in the depths of thought."- Les Misérables by Victor Hugo

“To turn off, go to Settings > Apps > Photos on iOS and turn off Enhanced Visual Search. On Mac, open Photos and go to Settings > General to do the same. You must do it on each of your Apple devices.”

There are two kinds of people. Those who stick with the puzzle from the beginning and those who join too enthusiastically near the end when it is easy.

My faith in humanity gets restored a little every time I see strangers offer to take photos of couples/families trying to get a selfie.

My black mirror horror novel coming to life before my eyes.
