I have an old "penny" collection, I have a friend who also has one, she knows about my decluttering situation, has offered to help trying to sell them together, if possible. I recently saw an award winning performance by Al Pacino. So far I have managed to avoid making a "Cent of a Woman" joke

Try to build usage, to develop a constituency for better. Pair it with walkability improvements. Caveat, I've never done advocacy in a small town.

Door zone, so bad. Volume probably low, not so bad. Speed limit unclear to me. You could fit PBLs if you remove parking on one side. Probably an impossible ask right now, I imagine. So. Take the paint lanes. Let people know the problems, so they understand when usage doesn't spike.

Pbls are wider, but a way cycle track if feasible saves space. Sometimes it's about political will. By inclination I'm a graduation, and look for stepwise improvement.

Sometimes. A. The painted bike lanes can serve as traffic calming B. Some riders will ride more with paint bike lanes then without. More riders good in itself, and also adds to safety as drivers expect biked C. Actual safety impact depends on various factors including door zones, speeds, volumes

I want the record to show, that I've learned to focus on my breath for grounding when somebody does a persnicketty edit.

I was one space. My boss was very unhappy and insisted on two. I think I'm pretty much back to one space.

You have to put them after the beginning of the right turn lane? (I'm honestly not sure) Which is right by the bus shelter?

You're talking WB on King near Sunset, right? I wonder if the RR bridge project is an issue?

There's currently a bill in the General Assembly that would allow jurisdictions to do automated stop sign enforcement.

Seriously. The folks in those tenements saw their living conditions improve because of massive construction of new apartments outside the LES in the 1920s (including the neighborhood I grew up in). The NYC subway was built, in large part, to enable that.

Did you find the streets, er, congested?

I mean the improved infrastructure hasn't hurt.

This morning when I was tempted to scroll social media, I searched on gravel bikes instead. Helped, momentarily.

I'm not the BPAC expert on daylighting, but we may have ideas. I can send some email addresses, is guess. Also Alex Caroll of the Complete Streets Office will be guest speaker at our March meeting. I haven't been posting meeting info here, but will try to.

Okay, seriously. Julas on the Potomac. Nice cocktails. Great view of the Potomac and DC on one side. And of Alexandria development on the other.

I mean current standards for appointment seem to be different from what they used to be. Criticizing Senator Warner for this doesn't hold water for me.

On June 14, 2015, the London Sunday Times reported that Russian and Chinese intelligence services had decrypted more than 1 million classified files in the Snowden cache, forcing the UK's MI6 intelligence agency to move agents out of live operations in hostile countries.

while some terrorist groups had altered their communications to avoid surveillance techniques revealed by Snowden, the damage done was not significant enough to conclude that "the sky is falling."[105] Nevertheless, in February 2015, Rogers said that Snowden's disclosures had

Reading the NPS website (apparently not dodgy) it seems that those honored do include members of the Merchant Marine, and not members of the US Marine Corps, so the official name may be misleading to some. 🤷
