please don't be a gacha game

Spinning doggo kick

Not Shion as well...

A Monster Hunter duel between "embrace the FOMO" and "you will play it for a few days at best" going on inside my head right now. Just like with the previous two games, really. Well, I can always lean on the high prize and poor performance when the first one starts winning!

Looking forward to seeing how derpy Mega Meganimum will be!

WB Games is such a trash fire of terrible decisions and corporate greed... RIP Monolith, one of my favorite devs from years past. Sad how No One Lives Forever and AvP2 are perpetually in licensing hell and cannot be rereleased.

The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn't a Guy at All anime is now confirmed with a video!

I finally read this last year thanks to this box set and quite liked it! It expands the source material in smart and cool ways and adds completely original elements as well. They had to minimize some other parts, like say the dungeon experience, but all in all this is a fantastic adaptation.

If you see this, quote with a game you've played multiple times

Bluesky users being normal about a children's game character plushie challenge (impossible)

Missed the EU release by a day, but happy birf second best Mass Effect game.

How many more "oops, accidentally worked with chuds again"s does James get exactly? Anyone keeping a tally?

Haven't done any top10 games lists in years, neither did I really beat enough games last year for one, but I thought instead of all that it could be fun to just mention a random neat thing from all the ones I did. So here they are, in the order I played them.

Now that Nintendo is embracing the "classic mario" aesthetic, more YouTubers need to become familiar with the names Yoichi Kotabe and Shigehisa Nakaue. Kotabe solidified the 2D Mario look in the late 80s and early 90s, and Nakaue has been carrying that torch in newer games.

Though I was not aware of it on my original playthrough, my favorite "inspired by David Lynch" work is in fact Link's Awakening. The team at Nintendo managed to inject at least some of that good, weird, Lynchian energy in to the game indeed. So thank you for that Mr. Lynch!
