It's a dick move, he's not the boss, and even if he were, this is the epitome of a shitty management style. But that's because the goal isn't good management; it's chaosmongering and destruction.

I was very skeptical of Pritzker when he ran in 2018 and it ended up being a race between two billionaires (I was a supporter of Daniel Biss in the primary), but he has shown more tenacity and competence than I ever expected and I'm proud to have voted for him twice. The Dems could do a lot worse.

I think unfortunately that the issue isn't that vilifying empathy is new to evangelicals (it's been a talking point re: queer people for decades) but that now it is being mainstreamed. Conservatives have identified it as a strength of liberal rhetoric, so it must be torn down as a social value.
