Nothing beats a gorgeous music room with a gorgeous pet. Do you play piano? Iā€™ve always wanted to learn properly

Ok but a granny doing self defence is the most badass thing. You have all my respect omg And yeah if you still have that itch, it might be worth researching masking in older autistic women and find a therapist who has specific knowledge in that šŸ’œ

Or often we are hyper attuned to how many different ways things can be interpreted that it can be hard to know what perspective to trust. I think itā€™s much more nuanced than just being naive. Donā€™t rush to judge yourself! 2/2

I doubt youā€™re naive! Often a lot of us have had our entire lives gaslit so much that weā€™ve completely lost trust in our perception of the world and social interactionsā€¦leading to mixed messages and missed social cues 1/2

Thatā€™s such a fkn let down. And yeah there are still SO many therapists out there who will tell clients not to get assessed only because they donā€™t want them to have the autistic/adhd label. So much of my work is spent destigmatising autism/adhd to therapists so they stop traumatising my clients

Thatā€™s such a huge journey youā€™ve been on holy crap! I have no idea whether this is the case for you or not but Iā€™ve heard of so many situations were people get misdiagnosed with things like BPD when it was just autism the whole time

Itā€™s actually crazy how common your story is omg!!! So happy youā€™ve joined the neurodivergent cult šŸ’œ

Hi!! I had no idea the stats were so high. Itā€™s not surprising though tbh šŸ’…šŸ½ I was a child composer of mostly orchestral works (now in burnout recovery) but havenā€™t put on a show yet- would love to one day though!! Are there any shows youā€™ve been involved in?

The embarrassment of having to ā€˜performā€™ your disabilities so ableists donā€™t yell at you for ā€˜lyingā€™ šŸ™ƒ
