Last chance to respond to the Govt's Integrated National Transport Strategy survey - the deadline's tonight!

Will we see anything before the first Essex mayoral election in May 2026? Will we have to wait further until new unitary councils are formed and face elections?

I've responded to consultations on
* Maldon District Future Transport Strategy
* Maldon town Local Cycling & Walking Infrastructure Plan
* Connecting Essex Through Cycling & Walking
* Essex Transport Strategy
None have reported. Essex continues to make transport decisions based on outdated plans

The results of the Maldon District Future Transport Strategy consultation Aug 2023 were never published
In 2024 I was told it was delayed because: elections that year
It remained unavailable until my FOI request of Jan 25 which revealed the report was finished by Nov 23

There are so many options: include the ban in the storyline, make Brydon do all the driving, use a picture car & process trailer...

I’m experiencing this too. I’m campaigning in the part of rural Essex l live in. Not find much UK precedent work. The ‘rothar road’ concept in Ireland is interesting (but doesn’t map well on my area)

A post-growth future is not only necessary to stop the destruction of human and non-human nature, but now increasingly our reality. The imperial core's Left, weak and fragmented as it is, must absorb our new reality and seize the opportunities it presents. 2/4

There's a strong desire for segregated cycling and walking routes. #rECOnnectDengie
Over half the respondents were concerned about the effect of air quality on their personal health.
