Ich muss mit Entsetzen feststellen, dass das Dorf in dem meine Oma früher gewohnt hat zu 50% die Fascho-Partei gewählt hat. Es dürfte niemanden wundern, dass sich besagtes Dorf im Osten Deutschlands befindet.

Natürlich kann man sagen: „Wir haben Meinungsfreiheit und deshalb laden wir auch die AfD zu sämtlichen Veranstaltungen ein.“ Man könnte aber halt auch mindestens genauso gut sagen: „Wir wollen die Meinungsfreiheit behalten und deswegen bieten wir Nazis keine Plattform.“

Es ist problematisch, dass wir "Faschismus" oder "Nationalsozialismus" so untrennbar mit Krieg und Holocaust in Verbindung bringen. Dann kann man heutige Faschisten für vergleichsweise harmlos erklären. Aber auch damals hat es nicht gleich damit begonnen. Auch der Weg dorthin ist bereits Faschismus.
