This is one of four Inspector Gadget episodes in which Dr. Claw was voiced entirely by Don Francks instead of Frank Welker.

If that bill ever passes, I will never again be allowed to watch or even mention Sailor Moon, my absolute favorite anime in the whole wide world! Those MAGA Republicans have turned out to be Youma! We cannot let it end like this!

This cartoon was nominated for an Academy Award, but lost to MGM’s Tom and Jerry cartoon, “Mouse Trouble.”

This was also the final Looney Tunes cartoon to feature the "Porky in a Drum" closing titles. After which, the Looney Tunes series would start using the "That's all Folks!" script sign-off for the first time since 1937's "Porky's Garden."

And so does He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and his entire regime. Absolutely all of them!

Not all of them.

The writing might already be on the wall for Max as a whole. Warner Bros. Discovery needs to shut down Max forever, revert entirely to third-party licensing as their new streaming strategy, and never look back. Max never should have existed at all to begin with.

This was the first cartoon to feature the "Warner Bros. Present" byline on the Warner Bros. opening logo.

And Dan Hennessey, the voice of Chief Quimby in Season 1 of "Inspector Gadget," has recently reunited with Don Adams in heaven.

This was the first Merrie Melodies cartoon to feature the 1941 opening and closing rearrangement of “Merrily We Roll Along.” That’s the version that was also used in most of the Blue Ribbon reissues from 1943 until 1956.

Moving Van Driver: “Take it easy, bub. Don’t get excited, don’t get excited.” Gabby Goat: “EXCITED?!? WHO’S EXCITED?!? I’M NOT EXCITED!!!”

He also voiced Chief Quimby in Season 2 of the original Inspector Gadget series and the 1999 direct-to-video compilation film, “Inspector Gadget: Gadget’s Greatest Gadgets.”

As usual, I’m taking the wait-and-see approach until the day of the Direct.

That's not quite all, folks!

“Porky’s Bear Facts” was the first Looney Tunes cartoon to feature the 1941 opening and closing rendition of “The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down,” while “Goofy Groceries” was the final Merrie Melodies cartoon to feature the 1940 opening and 1938 closing renditions of “Merrily We Roll Along.”

Also, a painstaking restoration of "The Bugs Bunny Show" is currently in the works.

My new and improved AI-upscaled remaster of the episode, "Fang the Wonder Dog," from which this clip was taken, is currently in the works. Once my new and better remaster is completed, I'll post a new version of this clip and discard the old one.

How about that?

You’re absolutely right. This isn’t the first time Looney Tunes has ever been removed from Max, and it won’t be the last.

This isn’t the first time Looney Tunes had ever been removed from Max, and it certainly won’t be the last. It always returns to Max after a certain period of time.

"Huh? The Top Secret Gadget Phone. Is that you, Chief?" "I'm under you." "You're where?" "Gadget, get off me!" "Just a minute, Chief. I can't hear you very well." "For the last time, Gadget, get off me!" "Gotcha, Chief! Right away! Sorry, Chief. Didn't mean to drop in on you like that."

*Continued* Fortunately, I was able to work around that problem. I basically borrowed the time bomb's ticking sounds from the French audio track, which didn't have the act-closing music cue accompanying the sound effect, and digitally spliced it into the English audio track.
comment in response to post
One of my remastered episodes, "The Capeman Cometh," had a small scene spliced out of the French masters. That abrupt jump cut occurred between the fade-out on the time bomb at the end of Act 2 and the part where Penny tells Brain to stall for time.
comment in response to post
Inspector Gadget: “Thanks, fans. It was nothing, really.” Corporal Capeman: “The man is a living legend.” Chief Quimby: “Uh, maybe I’m getting too old for this kind of work.”

One of my two remastered episodes that weren't satisfactory was "Gadget at the Circus." The color correction process for that episode was darn near impossible.
comment in response to post
So far, I've personally completed the remaster of 11 episodes. I did two more of them, but the results weren't satisfactory, so I had to scrap those two episodes.
