I don’t think Biden pardoning his son actually changes anything. If we look at Trumps pardons during his first term it shows he doesn’t need an excuse. And, I can’t blame him for not wanting to trust his sons fate to a Trump Justice department and a Supreme Court without a spine

I think it’s a good thing. Putting aside the schadenfreude, a lot of Trump voters don’t think his negative policies will impact them. I hope when they see there is a real world cost and it impacts them personally it will hopefully drive them towards reengagement and maybe compassion

I don’t know if it’s shame as much as personal politics and relationships. Republicans in congress have shown they’re pretty shameless and next elections are far enough away that folks are going to forget by then.
