It also could dissuade actual tourists from visiting. Which I get isn't the most critical issue because it's not strictly a tourist site, but just why? What non-rasict reason could possibly explain it?

Name aside, Ja Tiika is more analogous to Macalania Woods than Rak'tika, recolored gear isn't really anything (WoD gear shares models with a crafted lvl70 set, and Mt. Gulg set), and the trolley gang doesn't mean anything. Souls don't have to be born in the same area to be who they are.

I don't even think it's entirely because she's a woman. She was just chosen as the nominee rather than running for president the entire time, which certainly alienated some people due to the undemocraticness of that action.
