Spent all my painting time yesterday doing the guideline sketch and the background, and then today got completely lost in the sauce making this branch (for over an hour 🤦). My little guys are starting to come along! I'm so excited to see this #painting completed. #traditionalart #acrylic #art

Historically, I have been abysmal at #watercolor painting, but I think my painting class finally pushed me enough to "get it". I'm having lots of fun working traditionally again, even if some things don't come out perfect. I am pretty happy with how this turned out given it's a medium I never use!

The first finalized costume design for the #persephoneballet next year. This is for when #persephone becomes Queen of the Underworld. I looked at a lot of Ancient Greek pottery to find motifs that looked Greek but that still looked like they fit a classical #ballet. I can't wait to see it made!
