Speeches are nice. Actions matter now. Do what little you can while you still can. Stop fucking around.

That makes sense. Internet Traffic Report numbers are looking surprisingly good, but that's just routing. ("Just", hahaha, yes, I know, sorry): www.internettrafficreport.com

Yeah, I feel there's an element of telling on oneself complaining about one's feed, when it's each of us that makes our feed. Mine is full of lovely smart snarky talented people, and I wouldn't have it any other way :)

Thinking the people complaining that bsky is full of angry bitter people are experiencing that because that's the energy they themselves are coming in with, and like calls to like.

Kid me would 100% say the Galapagos Islands. Adult me has a much longer list, but that's probably still at the top.

…although an all-mascot scrum would be a glorious thing to behold.

What I now really wish I could see is several dozen of these mascots, side by side, taking part in the Shibuya crossing scrum.

Then those people aren’t necessarily innocents. But ā€œthe peopleā€ is never ā€œall the peopleā€.
comment in response to post
The converse is also true. Neither will. I tolerate comments to the effect of ā€œattacks on Jewish people are OK becauseā€¦ā€œ Innocent people shouldn’t die because of shitty governments, anywhere.
comment in response to post
I don’t care what your argument is; if the crux of it is ā€œthe deaths of tens of thousands of children is fine becauseā€¦ā€œ that’s an instant block.

I have only deeply cynical answers to that )-:
