If you are a creator of any kind, produce things that your younger self would have gravitated toward in a deep, visceral way. That sort of depth gives you a fighting chance of getting a strong message out to younger generations in a way that matters to THEM.

I am still not writing a lot yet (unless you count new course prep materials), but my 15- or 20-year-old self would want to read what I am writing these days when I do get the time.

You know who always rants loudest about all the blood, sweat, and tears they devoted to the cause? Posers. Full stop.

You know what I'm mocking? Geezers who pull out the tired and worn "my generation was way more badass than you slackers" trope as though their parents and grandparents didn't say the same unsubstantiated nonsense. Fuck your ageist bullshit.

Chatterton is way too much of a candyass to take action on anything. He's just a bloviating lickspittle.

If you're genuinely asking this question, spare yourself... your life is MUCH better for never knowing them.

Trump's corruption began at birth, because he had a father so corrupt that Woody Guthrie sang about his degenerate ass.

I do not, as I am based in Pennsylvania. I'm not sure what investments have to do with this argument, but I'll bite.

I imagine every competent tailor would prank him just as much as his current tailor.

Using it minimally is still using it, but keep telling yourself that you're degrading value by using the product. And going to Twitter is just retreating to a fascist bubble.

Keep telling yourself that. All the rest of us see is you sitting at a table with Nazis.

... pretty rich to have a dipshit regurgitating the same tired fascist line about "wokeness" calling others unoriginal. I bet you think you're an "independent thinker" though, don't you, dumbass?

Seems odd that the post I quoted is blocked, given that I can still read the post itself and see the poster's profile as well. But here's a screenshot since it won't quote in my original post. bsky.app/profile/lale...

Seems pretty foolish that someone has to ask for that comparative data on Bluesky instead of PUTTING IT IN THE FUCKING REPORT. Withholding information like that is pure dereliction of duty in the interest of doing exactly what you claim not to be doing — lending cover for far-right attitudes.

The only way to be more effective in the current media ecosystem is to tack hard right, and anyone with a modicum of critical thinking skills would see that's effectively a non-starter (unless you've got zero integrity and only care about winning rather than advancing your position).

Gunston! How could I forget the vanguard that preceded even Lotus to the tobacco greenbacks?!

KOOL sponsored in CART from 1997 to 2002, but never F1 to my knowledge. Fortuna sponsored sportscars back in the 1980s as well as MotoGP, but I don't know of any F1 sponsorship. I know Liggett sponsored Can-Am under L&M, but can't find any F1 teams. I'd love to hear more if you know more!

I didn't realize he was here. Thanks for the heads-up to preemptively block his disingenuous ass.

So you're helping the Mechanical Turk steal your own material, got it.
