Ha! @jamesstout.bsky.social My dad (born in UK, moved to Australia 45 years ago, has used his support for Australia over England for the Ashes cricket matches to say he's Australian. He's still a bit (lot) more 'English' than I'd prefer though.

It truly does deteriorate trust in media. It's something I think a lot of the people behind media forget that. I've lost faith in a lot of media outlets specifically because of these things.

Literally the reason I want to learn Russian is so I can sound even scarier when I'm pissed of and swearing. I also want to be able to do very specific and disturbing threats in a 'scary' language.

I'm really good at cakes. I haven't followed a recipe in over 20 years. I do it all by ~vibes~ and knowing that I start off with approximately equal parts sugar and butter by weight (creamed), then whatever else I'm using by vibes. My banana cake (one of my favourites) has won a cake competition.
