Best? No. But she made an unfortunately otherwise ok biopic entertaining by portraying a somewhat cartoonishly single-minded and vindictive person.

I have been slow to start. Just the short story Regia Occulta the book starts with. But excited to dig into Xenos after reading that. I'll put The Infinite and the Divine on my list too.

#9 - The King Tide (2023) Discovered this purely through the RLM video about it. Very interesting focus on community and faith. The faith being a borderline addiction maybe? Definitely a hidden gem.

#8 - Pulp Fiction (1994) One of those movies that I felt I had seen purely through osmosis over 30 years. Recognizing some scenes immediately through their parodies. Pointing at the screen "Chief Wiggum!" when I see Ving Rhames in the crosswalk. Even with all that I was still surprised and amazed.

Mostly small incremental updates. Got clowns added last year. Very exciting for a lot of people.

Speechless? An understandable response when seeing him across the ballroom.

David Axelrod advised party leadership against keeping Sephiroth away from the black materia. Not polling well with black-robed voters they're trying to swing for the midterms.

Looking for work is anxiety inducing enough, and these tech solutions don't make it any easier. Hope you hear back soon!

Not bamboohr, but had a HR tech communication breakdown. Contact told me to schedule through this system they have, but they didn't show up to time I chose (and got a confirm back on). Emailing the HR contact directly worked out and got the phone interview their automated scheduling system lost.

#7 - The Boy and the Heron (2023) Impossible to predict what you'll get out of a Studio Ghibli movie. Watched the dub and had to confirm many times that was in fact Robert Pattinson. Unrecognizable. Not in my top Ghibli, but that's like saying this Michelin Star dish is not as tasty as the others.

#6 - Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (2024) Went out and saw this. Has some fun moments but I'll probably forget most of it quickly like I did the other two. For me watching Jim Carrey ham it up is far and away the most it has going for it.

Feel like I'm too good now at reading the signs. Falling for 23 scam sharpens the mind.

Top Gun Maverick may have used something similar. Where Val Kilmer's voice was recreated in an AI model.

#5 - The Brutalist (2024) Saw this in theaters two weeks ago. I hope this movie stands the test of time. What it states about America being true then is true now. Probably Guy Pearce's best performance as the dark embodiment of the top 1%.
