There certainly are issues with quality of games in #PokemonUnite. I got into Master rank with a 50% win rate, but since hitting Master? 22-14. It's because I play defenders and supports. Being a strong defender is great for winning a real game of Unite, but won't hard carry low level matches.

I saw a Pikachu using Electro Ball to start contested farm, not secure it. Unsurprisingly, they had a 60% overall win rate, but a 44% for the current ranked season, meaning they were used to bot games and low level games. They weren't ready for this season's ultra rank grind. #pokemonunite

Pokemon Unite stats can be so meaningless. I'm climbing through up to Master quite nicely lately, but yet it shows me with a sub 50% win rate for the season. But that's because it's counting five or six surrenders due to teammate disconnects. Those don't lower my rank, but do affect my win rate.
