this is one of the things I love about Barker. he's damn good at short stories and of course his novella 'Hellbound Heart' is top tier, but 'Galilee' and 'Weaveworld' should be considered failures of doorstops bc of how much they meander. I love the meandering. I love getting lost in immersion.
