that'll probably change when I actually read it. The Iliad has already been an absolute delight what with the Trojans as wine bearers analogy instead of just saying "we outnumber them tenfold" or such.

honestly I first experienced the story through a (full and shouldn't've been in the kid's section) graphic novel adaptation and still haven't read a proper translation (working my way through the Iliad very slowly) but it weirdly feels like I know every aspect of the story now...
