It's all about appeasing YT's (stupid) algorithm since they still have to heavily rely on it to keep going. Also I think Watcher itself isn't promoting it to keep Steven safe but that's just a guess. The new fried rice video is on the streamer so it's not separate.

They've decided to focus on Watcher as Only Spooky Stuff (plus puppets) for this year. YouTube treats food videos completely differently than anything else (true, I used to record their viewcounts and they get views SO differently) so they wanted to keep the brands consistent on YT
