Like having the memories but no longer being the person you were to return to them the same way as you left them. With the blessing of Growth comes the shadow of all that came before, all the ideas and hopes and dreams of a younger self that never got the chance to actualize,, you weren't ready.

There is a wild mix of surprise, wonder, amusement, and embarrassment, of the uncanny & the deja vu, of shame but also pride and love, but most of all, that of grief...
