He only ran to keep himself out of jail and because he likes the praise. He's basically just a figurehead now.

bsky.app/profile/nyti... Techno feudalism is the end goal here. They want mass privatization so they can wring anybody and anything for profit.

This is the only benefit of the movement to go back to the office full time

This is the problem with you centrist lib weirdos. Saying "vote" isn't some cure-all. I voted Dem down ballot, and what did it get me? My congressman blamed the loss in part on transphobic "worrying too much about boys playing girls sports" bullshit. The party is broken.

I am not talking about you I am talking about the party's politicians and strategists. You are acting like a fan when their favorite sports team is criticized. Criticizing your own party is important. Exposing their flaws is the first step to fixing them. But sure, continue with your rah rah BS.

You are totally putting words in my mouth. Nothing I am saying is "coddling bigots."

I do speak out about the right! However, I don't think my sub 150 follower account on this echo chamber platform is going to make a meaningful difference. Dem favorability is in the toilet according to polling and their strategies haven't meaningfully changed since the election that they lost.

It is on the Dems to convince voters to vote for them. If they don't, that is on the party. Trump obviously lies through his teeth all the time. If they can't simultaneously communicate why the right is bad and they are better, then you will keep losing.

And don't confuse criticism for hate. I simply want them to be better and do better.

Meanwhile, the most effective fight against Trump's agenda is happening in the courts while party leadership hasn't been nearly aggressive enough in counter messaging against Trump's agenda and how it negatively impacts their constituents.

Voters don't lose elections. Parties do. It's clear that punching right on nearly every issue was ineffective if not detrimental to the party's chances.

They don't deserve praise for doing the bare minimum

Maybe I would've entertained that question if you weren't acting like a gigantic crybaby. Have a nice day.

"I can deal with criticism" uh, it doesn't seem like that's the case. This could've actually been a constructive conversation about my criticisms of the Dems, but you were the one who got in their feelings.

I'm not trying to weaken anything. The Democrats don't need myself to appear weak. They do a fine job of that on their own.

What they are doing is despicable, but the democrats deserve criticism for rolling over and letting this happen as we speak.
comment in response to post
My entire gripe is that they are doing a piss poor job at opposing what is going on, and knowing them, they will do little to rebuild these institutions if they ever get the Executive Branch back at all.

Do you think the Democrats deserve no criticism for a) their role in the outcome of the election and B) sitting on their hands as the richest man alive and his puppet destroy the government? Because that seems to be the case.
comment in response to post
The Democrats are not some infallible group here. They absolutely enabled this to happen in the first place, and now they're sitting on their hands while those pieces of shit are tearing the copper wiring out of the walls.

That's partially on Thibs and partially on personnel, but not every single flaw on this team comes down to coaching. This roster certainly isn't flawless.
comment in response to post
I agree to an extent, but not every fault on this team is on Thibs. The bigs in the rotation right now don't give them nearly enough on defense, and their bench depth is lacking compared to other contenders.
comment in response to post
I don't think that's totally true. A better offensive scheme would help, but it isn't enough to cover for this team's flaws right now, particularly on defense. Especially when KAT is often caught on defense with his hands down.
comment in response to post
I don't think KAT's performance today is entirely on Thibs, but if this continues, then a change is necessary.
comment in response to post
I think Thibs is a better NBA coach than Buck is an MLB coach, but this is where he gets exposed. You can't just stuff Precious in the corner for entire possessions. KAT has also been terrible today.

They need him to be a genius because they cannot handle what it means for them to be tricked by a fool.
