Does this likely mean we’ll need an RX for vaccines, or do you think we’ll be able to self attest at a pharmacy?

Any indication as to whether we’ll be able to self-attest? I’m currently without insurance so it’s harder to get a prescription from a doctor. Willing to pay for the yearly vax though

Do we know if this applies to only future boosters that have yet to be approved, or if it applies to the currently available ones as well?

How will our current vaccines stand up against this variant?

Since republicans love to go on and on about states rights, can individual states still approve vaccines and make them available?

What’s your opinion, as someone who works in the medical research field, about what Dr. Soon-shiong is saying re covid causing the uptick in cancers?

Lol I am nowhere near an expert. Just trying to have a discussion about the paper you shared and the questions you were asking about it.

Is there data showing that this is specific to SARS-cov-2 infection? It’s fair to assume that people with cancer are at higher risks for severe outcomes from any viral infection.

Thanks for the explanation!

Is it true that all viral infections damage the body, even with immune memory? Even if the damage is minor and reparable?
Also, thanks for being so responsive. I’m working on apto g to nursing school in the US currently and I find all this fascinating.

What’s your assessment of the current risk of long COVID for the average, immunocompetent, up to date on vaccines person?
Additionally, what precautions do you take against COVID?

I’m sure you saw, but your favorite, AJ Leonardi, has a new post today attempting to refute this…

Thank you! Just want to clarify, the article is about t-cell exhaustion but the Twitter link is about vaccines. Maybe the wrong link?
