Well, it only took over 20 years but I finally got to play the unreleased Dinosaur Planet game on actual N64 hardware. I wish Dinosaur Planet came out as its own IP rather than having Star Fox shoehorned in. Playing on a PVM as God intended.

Superman 64 is notoriously bad, but more people need to talk about Superman on the SEGA Genesis. Brutally hard and WILL consume your soul. I revisited it today as an adult, still bodied me so I just used the health cheat to finish the game IDGAF! Great OST though. Boss theme is especially good.

I wonder if the Nintendo Switch 2 will feature improved framerate for the backwards compatible games. Pokémon Scarlet/Violet had awful FPS, I really wanted to enjoy it, but the performance was so bad it broke the immersion. Hopefully the inevitable Switch 2 Pokemon game will perform better!

This is so sad and F’d up with the LA fires. My husband proposed to me years ago in LA when we were on vacation, so it’s a special place. We drove through many of the areas now burnt down. Incidentally, there was a fire going on when we visited so we were unable to hike up to the Hollywood sign.
