To sign or veto the bills passed by Congress.

I'm so sorry. I just signed a petition and will call my representatives regarding park and forest service staff.

Thought they were all about audits!

That won't prevent them from doing severe damage to our country (if we let them).

Wow.

I can't read through the paywall, but what law has Starbucks broken here??

Maybe that's what I need.

I heard he got eviscerated back.

Millions. Millions will suffer.

Representative Jamie Raskin is working on that idea.

What on earth makes you think he would do that?

They're ecstatic, because they believe the right-wing lies that government is bad, bloated, wasteful, and woke. They think "bureaucrat" is a bad word. They think Elon is some sort of hero for the common man. They trust his decisions and the lies he tells them.

That video really creeped me out.

I think it's actually a shame that Musk has taught his child to be an obnoxious brat (he is clearly imitating what he hears his father say). Like father, like son.

Passwords? Doubtful. I think they've hacked in.
comment in response to post
Noooo... really?? This is terrible; how can this be happening? Why are our records so easy to hack??
comment in response to post
Why can't they make it permanent??

I was saying the same thing this fall. We already knew the P-25 game plan. Why weren't security measures put in place? Why didn't we do something to protect the computers?

What authority does Trump have against an existing law? Isn't tiktok still breaking the law by re-activating?
comment in response to post
You are correct. These employees being asked to leave can file a complaint. I hope people fight this.

Maybe to read and enjoy passively observing the conversations and learning new information? Maybe because they don't care if they have followers, because that's not why they're here?
comment in response to post
How does it hurt you to have someone following you (even if they choose to be an observer, not a poster)? I genuinely don't understand what the issue is.

Wow. 🤔

It was euphoric.

I've been following Ren ever since he released "Hi Ren" two years ago. Immediately fell down the rabbit hole.

I can't believe people voted for this instead of Kamala's plan to increase taxes on the very wealthy. She was all about serving the needs of the middle class. How could so many people vote against their own self interest? It's insane.

I worked in an office with only a handful of staff who had computers, plus I had my own computer at home. There were no tech upgrades on these computers, yet they sailed through Y2K without a glitch. If those upgrades were necessary, how is it that none of us crashed?

So what? Churches are closing all over Europe as well; it happened there before it started happening in the U.S. This whole decline preceded Trump and MAGA. It's not just an American phenomenon.

The Bible IS liberal. The Old Testament prophetically rebukes the wealthy who exploit the poor and demands justice for the oppressed. The New Testament presents a teacher who preached peace, served the powerless, rebuked hypocritical leaders, and rejected the values of the Empire.

What was the fake news?

What speech was that, and where do I find it?

Is this something he said recently? (We have to fight this.)

Okay, you can make your point by saying clearly whatever your point is. I'm not here to take homework assignments, but if you're trying to say that pundits don't reflect the views of actual voters, I think I was saying the exact same thing.

Why the hell are you telling me to do something that has absolutely nothing to do with what I posted? I'm not here to follow your orders, whoever you are.

I wasn't talking about Bluesky. I was talking about Democrats in Congress and on the news.

The delegates to the DNC convention... you know, the people who officially elect the party's nominee for President and Vice President? 🤦‍♀️
