Truly wild that people saw Mark Carney not name a minister of WAGE, win an election, and then reinstate it, and think that's a win. He threw women, nonbinary, and trans people aside until it was politically convenient. And they view this is some sort of win. You got played, folks.

Not a fan socially but it's good to have confirmation he's not going to culture war at us.
Good ol' Status Quo; it is the Liberal Party way.
Did he intend to keep it out and listen to the people, or was he playing politics to court the right? To me one is forgivable, the other is not.
Democrats do that and lose. You will too, eventually.
You don't know what good is. You're too ignorant to have any merit in this topic.
how do we tell if played or if "oops" and backtrack?
Also, as someone who is somewhat up-to-date on the news & follows social justice issues, I wasn't aware he hadn't appointed a minister of WAGE.
So maybe the impact wasn't actually that substantial.
only to reinstate it after significant blowback.
no question on his win, and i'm relieved he's our PM, but i'm not sure the reinstatement is a play or a genuine walkback from a mistake.
if anything, he played cons. which i approve
I'm just still trying to figure out how to distinguish between "a play" and him backtracking on something he legit made a mistake on.
it absolutely pissed voters off, as it should.
glad to have the ministry back, though. here's hoping their work continues uninhibited...
hoping. desperately. lmao
He’ll be a great LPC leader. Or at least a quintessential example of the type.
