Cute 🥰 🐰 🤗…
but i do believe that they 🐇 actually prefer the carrot 🥕 tops, the greens 🌱, rather than the orange bottom of the carrots 🥕 that are preferred by humans…
That's correct! Much like 'Nimrod' becoming an insult, Bugs Bunny's fixation on carrots is the origin of that idea in the American zeitgeist. While we can nibble on the orange part, as you say we love the leafs on top, as well as the other hearty greens like kale and spinach! 😍
I haven't claimed it was AI, I'm just defending people who thought it was. It's ok to question things on the internet, and skepticism should be encouraged. There's no need to be mean about it. Your original explanation about the age of the video was fine and informative.
Is assuming everything is real not also jumping to conclusions? We (generally) lack media literacy, so I personally think discussions about what's real and what's not are productive, and they help people to recognize deception in other places where it really does matter.
I don't see how that changes what I said? There's more options than just "It's ai generated" & "It's real". Those aren't the only two options. Seeing something that isn't real and immediately going "Must be ai" is not critical thinking, at all, that's just an assumption and being confidently wrong.
I understand where you're coming from. We both know it's an older, edited video. My point is that I'm glad that people are thinking critically enough to not assume the above video is real. Sure, the jump to AI may be unwarranted, but it's better than taking everything at face value is it not?
Maybe not AI, but it looks edited to me. The carrots look too uniform; at the second part they all are the very same size and alined but fall too chaotic. Also the colours are not quiet fitting with the shadows. Also the bedding would move at least a little i think.
yeah but they put time and effort into actually editing the video, while AI is simply a lazy cheaters trick. Also the bunny would have freaked the hell out if it was real, that's a dead giveaway something was added
It’s CG, yes. The bunny is real.
All the carrots are 3D models, they literally clip with the foreground and they drop in with default motion blur, physics and easy-ease
The issue is that people will try to pass it off as real. And people will echo it as real. We have a POTUS that can't even tell that a Times New Roman font on a picture isn't real. Got to watch out for you idiots so you don't make fools of yourself.
Carrots were created by us so they would never encounter them in the wild, and you're right to only give them the green parts since rabbits can't process sugar
“Do you just randomly show up on feel good posts to piss all over people's joy? Like is that your mandate?” Is that not rude to say to someone who’s simply sharing a fact? No i don’t hate fun, im just spreading info around that some people might not know
You are right. I see too many videos of people giving food that is high in sugar to animals that normally would not have access to. It can create complications that will shorten their life
I think people are overwhelmed right now, and they just wanted to enjoy something silly and cute without anyone "raining on the parade". That is how I felt anyway, and I'm a wildlife biologist who hates seeing people feed the wrong foods. But in that moment, I just wanted to smile at a cute bunny.

I can't help myself. I love giving imaginary dialogue to adorable animal photos.
Enjoy the punchline and the cute bun.

do you complain just to complain?
even Live TV on a 7 second delay is technically "Edited".

CARROT STORM
I call them cute thieves.
Best Bunny!
Bunny become carrot
Have a terrific weekend😎🖖🏼🌍🌏🌎 all y’all.
I was just sharing a fun fact, i wasn’t like “ugh bunnies can’t have carrots”
That's the definition of gaslighting and also completely disengenuous
But I do think we need to just enjoy the little things right now, given that all the big things have gone to hell in a handbasket.
Like, I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m just saying people don’t need to overreact over a fun fact
