The players look absolutely winded.

This is nothing new, sadly.
It was never sustainable to grinding out results.

Not being allowed to do much with the ref hovering over everything

Yeah. This is the biggest truth. Taylor has been poor but we haven't created nearly enough

3 days rest versus 5 for Brighton. Add illness in to the mix, it's not really a surprise we look tired.

You have to ask why Nwaneri was substituted. He was the only source of attacking threats.

With no Saka, no Nwaneri and MØ a shadow of himself, and with B&HA playing with 11 men...
