Reform have absolutely no solutions but Labour austerity & anti-trans & anti-migrant culture wars will push people right into their arms. We need an alternative that isn't just "don't vote reform". Who do we vote for? Not the labour party of disability benefit cuts. (1/3)
There's a crisis of political representation and as a trade unionist i think our unions need to stop funding austerity politicians like you, or Birmingham Labour Council, who attack our members and communities (2/3)
and build a new, trade union based, workers party that cuts across division, stands up for communities and puts disabled people at the heart of everything it does.
Jeremy Corbyn took more than a million votes off UKIP. Imagine what real socialist policies could do. (END)
I obviously meet constituents every week - if anyone wants to talk, about this issue or anything else, they can email https://[email protected]. Hope that’s helpful. Have a good day.
This is more like it fight Reform on how much they opt time and time again to make poor poorer from net zero,Brexit, they are funded by OIL companies
They do nothing for working class except encourage them to blame people in a dinghy or Indian Dr why they are poor when it's because of the rich& gov!
Protecting workers rights will help many. After people have voted for the cheapest option for decades, it seems odd to expect a reversal in months.
You would be in a better position with tories in power?
I depend on disability benefits. I was in a better with the Tories in power. And to think that I was over the moon when Labour was elected. It didn't take long for Labour to disabuse me of the notion that they would protect me.
I have trouble getting my head around what Labour is doing to various groups of people, supposedly in the hopes of getting the blessing of the Daily Mail, which'll never happen.
Yes. A lot of us are going to suffer if Labour does what it says it will.
In the meantime, I'm off to work. I'll probably have to give it up when I lose my PIP.
Whilst I find the prospect of Farage as PM terrifying, you’re not making it hard for him.
The media are complicit in making Farage yet you have done nothing about making the media accountable. The BBC is the worst because people believe the BBC, yet you show no sign of making it accountable.
Literally pages of explanation for policy.
Summary. Mad nige says eat ten glasses a day. Prof Lyn says eat no glasses.
Balance, eat five glasses a day.
All true and have you any comment on the resolution foundation, where you used to work, who have stated that Labour are forcing children into poverty by retaining the 2 child cap etc?
