RESULT: Omaha's Republican Mayor Jean Stothert just lost to her Democratic challenger John Ewing.
Stothert, who was running for a fourth term, resorted to anti-trans ads and messaging around who uses bathrooms in the final stretch of the campaign.
Ewing will be Omaha's first Black mayor.

still, ridiculous to be like "you didnt write cohesive exhaustive theory in 300 characters" lmfao
They purity test by rejecting anything left of center.
How soon you forget
If you just want to FEEL like everything is sunshine and rainbows that’s fine, but those seeking real action won’t spare obstructionist Dems.
Attached your horse to the wrong team huh???

My father was born in 1936 on a small farm in NE…he got out and drove west until he hit Ocean but I remember the awkward summer trips & his stories of “bath day was on Sundays” & milking cows in the winters…
I hope you don’t mind if others decide to join me!!
Get right to the heart of matters
It's the heart that matters more
Do we really care who uses what bathroom, as long as they use one?
As a man I rarely even look up when I am in one.
& when was the last time you were attacked by a trans person?Hm? What'd you say?
Yeah, that's what I thought.
Another MAGA nazi defeated.
Meanwhile the DNC is still in bed with consultants who called Trump's "Kamala's for they/them" ad one of the best ads ever.
They campaign under the premise that every position a candidate takes has a fixed polling outcome, they cling to the safety of the quantifiable and reject intuition entirely.
John Ewing's ad was excellent and effective. I hope others will use similar messages. They'd be braindead not to in municipal elections with opponents focued on toilets.

Just because people repeat some simple phrase doesn’t make it true.
Being misogynistic, racist and/or anti-LGBTQ are no goes for me.
Cause it sure AF isn't us.
Stop spreading lies.
Spreading lies about Democrats damaged us as a country.

I'm not familiar with US systems, so is this correct?
* source: Wikipedia - What does "registered voters" mean?
So if I'm understanding you correctly, if we add in the people who are eligible to vote, but do not register to vote, that 13% is too high.
Does anyone count the number of people in Omaha who are eligible to vote, but do not want to vote in elections?
