Courts here do not investigate nor charge anyone. It’s prosecutors who secure indictments or file charges. Courts of course issue warrants for the arrest of an individual, but the executive branch (police) makes those arrests.

They are. There are tons of lawyers and Judges who are acting as a check. Go to Above the Law or the American Constitution Society. Look to Public Citizen, Americans United For Separation of Church From State. These are just some of the organizations challenging Trump in court.

I am not sure where you reside. If you reside outside of the US, your courts likely operate in a different manner. Courts in the US do not initiate cases or charges. They do not investigate either. They adjudicate what is “before them.” Prosecutors and other lawyers bring matters before the courts.
