One of my favorite of @rachellichtman.bsky.social 's works. BTW notice Barry Williams and Butch Patrick as the two eldest sons (Butch as Peter replaced by newcomer Christopher Knight in the Brady Bunch as Butch was difficult to work with.)Carolyn Jones as Joanna, too sophisticated for the Bunch.

I've always assumed that Carolyn Jones' character died in some horrific faulty-architecture accident, possibly on the very same staircase that's in the Brady Bunch home, and that Mike was silently haunted by her death every time anyone reached the defective step. But I'd have to consult Ida Lupino.

LOL A brilliant back story! Did they ever tell us HOW the first Mrs. Brady met her untimely demise? Do we default to "died in childbirth" with poor Bobby who later collapsed under the pressure of unexpressed guilt and became a cult leader or founded a multi level marketing company in the 80s?

Honestly I assumed Mike and Carol had met at random and a "Strangers on a Train" scenario had presented itself. Nice and tidy. Then they married each other since that way neither could ever be forced to testify.

The music, font, and styling are so on point. Imagine this show the cast could do both Mad Men-esque plots or it could be a bit of a comic satire. Either way I would watch the heck out of it
