I think the messaging is going to get real simple starting in a couple weeks. The effects of the tariffs are going to ripple out to almost every corner of society.

Empty shelves, lost jobs, higher prices, etc. Everyone will see these things. That should make for easy messaging.

It's a combo. The Dems need a variety of messages and need to use them to educate and predict. So, when the thing happens (detentions, scarcity) they can point to it and repeat.

What we DON'T want is Chicken Little because when something doesn't happen we look like.... well, Chicken Little.
