One depressing lesson from 2024 is that the best strategy for a political party is to break stuff and lie.
Thwart the function of government at every turn. Run ads that say, "Trump let 18 billion convicted murderers cross the border," "inflation is up 6000%," "Trump sold all our cows to China."

Here's the post mortem no one's brave enough to write: We actually have a very clear and recent example of how a party comes back from a clear and convincing electoral defeat, and that's the way the Republicans adapted to their loss in 2020.

That's the formula that works apparently.
If you’re not yelling at the top of your lungs and getting attention you won’t get any pop-culture traction with folks.
Get attention at all costs.
It will be the NYTimes and the “factchecker” at Snopes as well
“Repeal Trump’s satanic baby killing death panels!”
“Other people want your stuff!”
Republicans built this over decades.
The Dems need to step up and coordinate messaging so it gets repeated over and over on a daily basis. Think Pete on Fox but all over
Dems had no response and the subconscious primal minds of many were infected
