I think stewards will have a more challenging time, but booze at stadiums is a big revenue source in the US - they often have people in the aisles selling drinks and snacks during matches. It'd discourage pounding drinks before/during half time too.

We can see how that works at Baseball do they have cashless stadiums? The problem at rugby for example similar timed game was flying beer and constant back and to for toilet breaks it soon led to dry areas because attendance was falling.

I'm pretty sure there aren't many cashless places but the people in the aisles have portable POS units for taking payment. (Cashless also violates the equality act unless they have reasonable adjustments readily available for those who need them) I've been here 8 years so things might've changed.

Our Stewards are pretty good but this might be a bit far to handle. They would certainly end up with more complaints to handle.

Very few have complained about Cae Ras being cashless far safer for stewards and office staff particularly as we don't take cash on the gate anymore.

Again, it's just about making reasonable adjustments available where needed. If companies going cashless do that then it's all good. It would always be a very small percentage of customers who require it.

That hasn't been brought in here. Always makes me laugh that authorities say that cash costs nothing compared with cashless which small businesses are quick to point out isn't the case. This might also be a change of licencing would be interesting to find out. It's not happening soon.

In the before times I always liked the idea of a stand with strict rules on swearing/persistent standing that was dry & a stand where there was understanding that policing such things was more, ahem, relaxed. Not sure if such a thing would be practical when the place is full, maybe with Kop built.

While on the dole in 2000/01 I volunteered for a furniture charity and spoke to him when he offered some from his alternative therapy centre. He very kindly signed a leaving card for me when I eventually found paid employment.

There would certainly need be less jumping, clapping, chanting as the beer would need to be drank, not spilled. North American fans celebrate differently, so it works fine over here. I see how beer would be constantly dumped, with the way you all celebrate

Do they have the bad and anti social behaviour associated with drinking in stadiums here in rugby and cricket though? Welsh rugby inteoduced dry areas because of it and watching American football in front of a bunch of beer swilling drunks nearly ended up in a fight.
