- COVID wastewater levels are very high in the majority of states

- 1 in 35 people currently have COVID

- COVID levels higher today than during 90% of the pandemic

My town is tied for highest Covid vax rate in my county but I'm am seriously dismayed that "high" percentage is only 28%.

I got the latest booster shot as soon as I could and still mask when I go out.

I thought the whole point of the lockdowns was to keep hospitals from being overwhelmed. Covid is never going away. It’s with us like influenza, with some years having a more virulent or dangerous strain than others.

I was just told "oh that happened during Covid..." It's so simple for people who don't have health issues or are immunocompromised to say that.

My response today was Covid isn't over, people are still being hospitalized and dying.

The true “conspiracy” is right there in the open: we’re all expected to accept constant illness and ongoing physical damage to keep The Economy rolling. To that end we’ve been lied to about mildness and the safety of our kids.

And most of us are not educated or privileged enough to protest.

I caught Covid on a flight from NYC to Toronto. Person should have been required to wear a mask. Red nose, coughing and constantly blowing his nose. Sad! Ruined my Christmas. Still recovering.

Even in semi rural Australia. A friend had her house wracked by storms, they're isolated by roads and power wrecked for the coming week... Yet her husband still caught COVID from the brief limited exposure to other folks in their tiny town.

I never stopped wearing my mask when I go out which goes over well in Florida. 😂 Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction to my 2nd COVID shot (same problem with flu shots) and now I can't get them anymore. I'm lucky - I look like I'd give someone a piece of my mind if they gave me grief about it.

In Ontario, Canada it's 1 in 13 infected right now. 1 in 20 for the country as a whole. Nobody's masking. And uptake for the XBB shot is <20%. Some enterprising Master's student should write a thesis paper about how easy it was to convince an entire planet that a BSL-3 pathogen is "just a cold".
