I think if we truly kept our death in mind we might live deeper and maybe longer because we would take the gift of life more seriously. And maybe if the greedy bastards who are running the country could realize that they absolutely will die as well….who am I kidding, they will never realize anything
I feel like someone who is in a position to save lives and is actively utilizing that position to prevent the saving of lives by saying "we're all going to die" is kinda making a request for the good of humanity.

The cuts to public health, safety net programs, entitlements, the MAHA snake oil nonsense…reality is the GOP wants people dead. They don’t want your 75 year old mom to have a hip replacement or your kid to get a vaccine or your sister’s cancer cured. Not a conspiracy, just open your eyes.
They are literally following the Nazi playbook from WWII. Just for ONE example, the autism registry RFK Jr is trying to set up is an exact copy of something the Nazis did as a precursor to their "final solution". Their registry of disabled people eventually included political prisoners and others.
I think we would also like to not be hungry or suffering while we are waiting to die when we actually have safety nets currently in place by our government to avoid such hunger and suffering...
The two life expectancy pithies I have on hand for the right occasion:
"I want to die young... as late as possible" and "I have enough money to live comfortably for the rest of my life.... as long as I die next Thursday"
I can not believe she would say this. Some elected official who makes 100-200+K a year and gets the best healthcare available should not being saying this to us. We are not their peasants.

Their conservative viewpoint made them prone to fall for Fascist extremism. Not sure if/how it would work with our First Amendment, but I saw a post online recently saying we need to shut down any future conservative movements, since they all devolve into Fascism eventually.
Congress should be on the same health care plan of the poorest of us, that way it would ensure a humane system where people can get what they need. Public funding of elections and a minimal starting income for members of Congress would be good ideas too, raises to be voted on by their constituents.
